Al Green five best album of his career.

What do you regard as the five best Al Green albums. To me the very best is Belle.

Great choices S2DG - I would have to agree with you. I love all of these albums and I would have to include Belle as well.

Going to check out this album as I don't know anything about it other than it's from 1977.

Thanks for the heads up!

I'm Still In Love With You I listen to the most; I never feel like skipping a track.

that's my go-to album as well. Even though some albums sound a bit same-ish, he hasn't really made a bad album at all (forget the 80's happened). Even the last couple are not bad, including the one with The Roots.

.

Next to impossible to make a top 5 that isn't a momentary list.

His 80's christian output is great as well, not as great as the 70's output but good nonetheless.

Both. I know I've casually listened to the song on his greatest hits but never actually heard it.

With the album - usually not a fan of the disco vibe (album goes there towards the last few tracks) but what Al brings is too powerful to be ignored.

I called it a masterpiece because overall it is and I'm glad I know now. It's on my rotation for years to come. music

Thanks again bow
