While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

Call me crazy, but I really think he could do something pretty great with Clapton's solo.

"Daytripper", "I Feel Fine" and "Ticket to Ride". Also "Hard Day's Night" just to hear him recreate the opening chord.

You're right, I didn't remember the live renditions, probably I didn't listened to any of these concerts.

Anyway, what was in my mind was a studio version with a beginning only piano and voice evolving in a rock ballad string-laden and with a strong guitar solo ("Purple Rain" kind of).

Probably I have too imagination. lol

I wonder how much involvement he had in the leaked version by Margie Cox featuring Tony M. Random and in a bizarre way I quite like it.

I don't know their music and the snippets I've heard aren't intriguing enough to make me go exploring, so if he never fuqs with them 'officially,' cool with me

If that's the way you feel, you'd better stop listening to pop music altogether. There's nobody in pop music that hasn't been influenced by them in one way or another. Even James Brown covered Something. That's a song I'd like Prince to do. Or Get Back...
