I am encouraged that you spelled "baiting" correctly this time.

You're still wrong, of course, but at least your spelling has improved.

I have to say, any time I see the array of arseholes that show up at these elite events, I feel much better about being a lowly schmuck.

What exactly do these people do there, and why don´t they ever talk about what´s discussed there?

And....who invites them? Who decides who gets to go there?

Every time I see one of the attendants in front of a reporter´s camera they always ignore any Bilderberg related questions.

It's a sort of annual networking event for political and business elites, as far as I can gather. Jon Ronson made a documentary on it as part of his 2001 'Secret Rulers of the World' series, which was quite fun.

https://www.youtube.com/w...0p-e2ng0SI

Ronson debunks the conspiracy theorists' take on it - in which it's the secret gathering of an all-powerful cabal, meeting to plot how best to enslave the masses. I've always thought, though, that once that silliness is safely out of the way, and we view it in its mundane reality as a private gathering of a somewhat powerful assortment of well-connected elite figures, discussing and formulating political strategies away from media and parliamentary scrutiny, it does all seem rather nepotistic and undemocratic nonetheless (albeit in a more ordinary way).

In recent years, when we've seen the political Establishment in more than one country seek to disgorge figures that, though elected, it deems not to have been properly 'annointed' for office - the onslaught against Jeremy Corbyn in the UK has been vicious and unrelenting - I'm both intrigued about and wary of the informal networks and power structures that exist, and the linkages between the upper echelons of media, politics and business.

I think the concern is always there but they judge him by message, polcies and what he does. I've said it before that infowars could turn on Trump if they prove he is Illuminati. I also believe that is what Pelosi was calling for Trumps family to go after him. So it would make sense as a conspiracy.
