Can Trump become a holy Reagan-esque right wing Messiah?

With the economy booming and unemployment at record lows, can this happen?

Right wingers live in a Joseph Goebbels-eque eco-chamber as we see here daily and as someone who was a kid during the Reagan era and saw a senile right wing hawk become a holy right-wing political saint.

I’ve been to the Reagan library and I don’t remember whether they have holy water at the entrance to sprinkle on yourself to cleanse yourself with, but I think they do...

I thought about the same thing the other day. I think Trump still has every chance to turn things around in his favor. Sure, his morals are drastically different from Reagan´s , to put it mildly, and as far as I know Reagan never would´ve cheated on his wife with pornstars but I truly believe that Trump can become a very special president in many Americans´ hearts.

Not if I can help it.

This is why I religiously refer to unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump in that manner.

He is NOT religious; he is PROUD that he's not religious; and anyone who follows the Ten Commandments yet looks the other way at unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump's near-constant sinning just because he cut their taxes is making a grave mistake IMHO.

There are celebrities like Jon Voight who go on regularly Fox News to heap praise on Turd. When thee people see this day in and day out they start to believe it.wher it comes to politics or advertising, as long people are willing use their name and likeness to endorse something, and you hear the tune often enough, you start singing the same tune.

The Reagan Library is a beautiful place all jokes aside. I enjoyed everything about it and my visit was wonderful. The Reagan Library hosts different exhibitions from time to time and that’s one of the reason I went was because they were hosting a Vatican exhibit and I took my parents there.

The architecture is beautiful as is the surrounding area as well. The most memorable things for me were the Presidential airplanes and helicopters. You are allowed to walk into his Air Force One. Though I would imagine they would stop doing that and one point because of the wear and tear. There is also a recreation of his Oval Office.

Yep. In different ways. Perhaps just as a way to thumb their nose at a demographic. He has certainly made it aceptable to support coy bigotry.

No. No, he can't:

Trump "was never a fan" of Vietnam

The interview was conducted in the underground bunker where Winston Churchill led the British government during the Blitz and World War II.
"Do you wish you'd been able to serve? Would you have liked to serve your country?" Morgan asked.
Trump replied by questioning Vietnam, mirroring some of the anti-war sentiment of the '60s and '70s.
"Well I was never a fan of that war. I'll be honest with you. I thought it was a terrible war. I thought it was very far away. Nobody ever -- you're talking about Vietnam at that time and nobody ever heard of the country," Trump said, adding the non sequitur that, today, the government of Vietnam has been successful negotiating in global trade.
He went on to say that he wasn't active in protesting the war as a young man, but he didn't think the US should ever have taken part.
"But, uh, nobody heard of Vietnam and then say well what are we doing. So many people dying. So I was never a fan of -- this isn't like I'm fighting against Nazi Germany. I'm fighting -- we're fighting against Hitler. And I was like a lot of people. Now I wasn't out in the streets marching. I wasn't saying, you know, I'm going to move to Canada, which a lot of people did. But no, I was not a fan of that war. That war was not something that we should have been involved in."

He’s aTurd an a moron, but that doesn’t change the fact that people can’t think what they want of him. The right right seems to love ignorant and Hitler-y type things. They are the right after all,

True but it is 2019. Times have changed. Trump is the man of the times. Trump will be Obama and Clintons legacy, he was a reaction to them.

He speaks the language and embrace ignorant beliefs, that a certain segment of his supporters are afraid to express in public, many of whom on the right, sit in Congress. On the other hand, there is the other side within, who express those same, ignorant beliefs out loud, and cheer trump for being their voice. A very delusional bunch, who base their beliefs on hatred, fear and ignorance. The kind who cannot accept the demographic shift in America.
