Are we talking about the same Rachel Maddow? The one I'm referring to is an anchor on MSNBC.

Maddow like other political pundits I think is aware that she can only get to keep her lucrative TV hosting job if she supports u.s foreign policy. She would be fired if she supported the bolivarian revoultion. I do also think that she actually believes in u.s exceptionalism and supremacy and is not actually self-editing herself. Maddow has been shitting all over the bolivarian revolution since her days with Tucker Carlson on Fox News. I think she is only labelled a liberal/progressive because she is LGBT. Which is a very low bar since conservatives and even neo-Nazis in 2019 are inclusive of white LGBT people. This debate was actually about Iran. Of course the similarity here is the socialist party of Venezuela and Mossadegh. The west hate socialism when it’s for black and brown people. Any form of socialism in non western countries is always crushed. Western capitalism falls apart if black and brown people the world over form socialist systems. People like Maddow and Bolton are aware of this. Maddow is protecting her privilege by shitting all over Venezuela at the behest of John Bolton. I think there is some strong support for the Iran neuclear deal on the left and just a general sense that there should be no war with Iran, which is great. I’m not sure why there seems to be support for Iran and not Venezuela on the left. perhaps because the Iran deal was a Democratic Party initiative? Regardless, it’s one of thier best achievements. It’s a blue print for international co-existence and peace. I think opposition to war with Iran has much more support than opposition to war with Venezuela. I think perhaps because Venezuela is considered a “socialist” nation. Socialism is the only threat to white supremacy and western capitalism that there is. The perpetually intertwined nature of class and racism rears it’s ugly head again. Yes, I believe that class and race is why Venezuela and the bolivarian revolution is struggling to gain traction and support. Black and brown people asserting themselves so boldly is always going to cause people to clutch thier pearls. . [Edited 5/22/19 5:48am]

Um, no. Back that up with some actual stats if you are seriously going to say that haus.

Sadly, this is what you get when you have pussies like unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. "Cadet Bone Spurs" Trump and John "I confess I had no desire to die in a Southeast Asian rice paddy… I considered the war in Vietnam already lost" Bolton in places of power.

All we're missing is Theodore Anthony "I actually and I mean actually crapped and peed my pants when I became eligible to serve my country" Nugent involved and we'll have the Pussy Trifecta.

Obama would have thought by making a deal with people like Hitler it would change them. Fuck no it will not. No dealing with those types of assholes.

I have never lived in Iran, but I have lived in the west and have experienced racism and and anti-lgbt sentiment. None of those people who were racist or bigoted towards me were actually Iranian. As someone who is considered “dark skin” in my family and community I get this. Although as someone who grew up being called “the ugly one” because of my dark complexion which is in comparison to the rest of my family is that I also gained a great understanding of how within broader society I experience privilege because in some contexts I am considered “light skinned” or “acceptable” for a black/mixed/multi racial person which results in privilege. As a result of this I have always understood how my skin complexion plays into the privilege I experience in wider society. This privilege is in contrast to how my complexion works against me within my family and community as I am considered “dark skin” in that context. My enemies are right here, I don’t need to to look to Iran for white supremacists. . [Edited 5/22/19 10:52am]

From what you personally experienced? ok

There are white supremacists and they are right here, born and bred.
It’s a major issue in our societies but Iran still negotiated a deal inspite of these many problems our society has to deal with.
Leave Iran alone and clean your mess up.

the issue with Iran is purely about western economic control of that particular region.
Everything else is just rubbish.

Saudi Arabia allows u.s to control it financially so they have a good relationship.
Iran won’t allow the U.S to control it like Saudi Arabia does, so here we are.

You do realize Hitler wanted to take over the planet? (ie NWO/Globalists, the economic practices of Obama and Clintons were if they could make money favoring other countries they would, flashback Prescott Bush made money from WW2, so war with other country bad unless $$$ to be made. Trump wants to build a Wall and rule over America. He put America first not China). Build a Wall.

Show me ultimately if Trump has a plan to take over the planet? NOPE. Whereas others seen hurting American economy as a way to make money. Globalism.

Hmm, link or it hasn't happened.

When I google Rachel Maddow and Bolivia, the 1st thing that comes up is from 2013 in which she is wondering where Edward Snowden is, and stating that the Bolivian president had been in Russia meeting with Putin. I am finding nothing current about Maddow on Bolivia. So you are going to have to support your claim, otherwise, I call it a conspiracy theory and a lie.

As for another conspiracy theory, which mentions John Bolton, here is that conspiracy:

<--- Youtube brackets not inserting video. Here is the url for the youtube video: https://youtu.be/XnECt7gvW9k

In it, she ponders, "How do you come to work every day if you are John Bolton? Regardless of what you thought about John Bolton before this or over his career, and his track record, I mean just think of John Bolton as a human being. This is what John Bolton, human being, thought his job was this week - (reporter during interview with Bolton) - Bolton response, "Look, the Russians like nothing better than to put a thumb in our eye...." {Back to Maddow) You thought that was your job this week. Not after Putin gets done with Trump today. (To Trump on Putin) - He is uh not looking at all to get involved in Venezuela, other than he'd like to see something positive happen for Venezuela. -- (Back to Maddow)"

This is not her agreeing with Bolton. This is not her defending Bolton. This is her pointing out how Trump's cabinet members often do not know what is going on from one moment to the next and how they end up stepping in the isht time and again because they think they are on the right path with Trump and then Trump suddenly veers hard right.

Here is why Trump wants a war with Iran:

In order to get elected, @BarackObama will start a war with Iran.

3:48 PM - 29 Nov 2011

Now that Obama’s poll numbers are in tailspin – watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran. He is desperate.

6:39 PM - 9 Oct 2012

I predict that President Obama will at some point attack Iran in order to save face!

6:23 PM - 16 Sep 2013

Remember that I predicted a long time ago that President Obama will attack Iran because of his inability to negotiate properly-not skilled!

This has nothing to do with Iran. This has everything to do with Trump believing this is what a president would do to get re-elected. This has everything to do with Trump believing this is what a president would do to improve his polls. This has everything to do with what Trump believes a president would do "to save face". This has everything to do with Trump believing a president would do this because he could not negotiate properly with Congress. It has nothing to do with Iran or what he wants to claim Iran has done. Remember, Trump is the one that pulled out of the treaty with Iran. In Iran's eyes, Trump struck the first blow by doing that.

If for argument sake Trump really changed his policy against Venezuela that would be a good thing.
Not according to MSNBC and it’s parent company General Electric and Oil PTY LTD.
Because GE have signed an oil refining contract with ExxonMobil.
GE is a corporation and it’s only concern is maximising profit.
John Bolton does that for them.

MSNBC should have a disclaimer about this particular conflict of interest when reporting on news that concern Venezuela as the news agency is actually owned by GE who have a vested interest in overthrowing the bolivarian government.

You went from apparently being concerned that I was going off topic by linking Venezuela and irans struggle. After I didn't reply you are now going back to Venezuela in your attempt at engaging me.

1. You and Benni called me a conspiracy theorist and liar because Benni thinks the Bolivarian revolution didn't happen as I gather that Benni thinks the Bolivarian revolution refers to a revolution that occured in Bolivia.

2. Yes it appears GE sold MSNBC to comcast. It still doesn't take away from the point that news agencies owned by corporate conglomerates have conflicts of interest when report ing news.
Give me a few minutes to dive into Comcast's financial holdings and I'll point out how they are bias towards the white elitist agenda of overthrowing the Bolivarian revolution and any other nation, including Iran.
That was not "another conspiracy" it was just not up to date finance money/stock news. However The point still stands.

3.you and Benni are using the term conspiracy theory in it's racist form.
You use it describe those who oppose western foreign policy and or neo liberal policies that are indeed racist in nature.
Racism is not a conspiracy theory Ian.
It's racist because you are not correcting Benni about Bolivia or calling them a conspiracy theorist for been incorrect about that fact.
You only use that term when discussing foreign policy and white supremacy.

You also said in another discussion that it was conspiracy theory for rightfully claiming Australian military was assisting Saudi Arabia in Yemen.
You claimed it was also conspiracy that Australian military industrial complex were increasing arm sales.

3.fallback. don't get angry and frustrated with me and learn to control your racist white Australian Christian paternalism. Nothing good has ever come of that Ian.
You can't get angry and vicious at those you think you have a right to dominate and who don't listen to you or serve your white liberal interests in a passive and submissive manner.

4. Eat a d**k.
Respect is a two way street.
Engage with respect and others will resiprocate.
This goes for not only for how you seem to personally engage with people but how nation's interact and engage with each other.

P.S. As ever you are completely wrong:

.

1 MSNBC is owned by Comcast Corporation. This is a publicly listed business, albeit with 1/3 voting power held by the Roberts Family, with no interests in oil.

.

2 PTY LTD is not used in the US. It indicates that an Australian registered corporation that is not a public company.

.

3 The name of the company you are thinking of is GE Oil and Gas Pty Ltd, not General Electric and Oil Pty Ltd. There is not company called General Electric and Oil Pty Ltd in Australia (or elsewhere).

.

4 GE Oil and Gas Pty Ltd is not the parent company of the GE group anyway. That is General Electic Company, a US publicly listed company. GE Oil and Gas Pty Ltd is not even GE's Australian holding company.

.

5 GE sold out of NBC on 10 March 2013. You are hawking old, outdate conspiracy theories yet again.

You went from apparently being concerned that I was going off topic by linking Venezuela and irans struggle. After I didn't reply you are now going back to Venezuela in your attempt at engaging me. 1. 1 No I called you out for spreading a false claim based on a made up company name and a complete lack of ability to fact check. What I said is based on your conspiracy theories, not Benni's post.

.

2 What a complete lack of integrity: Having had your made up oil conspiracy fall to pieces, you cannot just admit your made an error, Instead you have predetermined that you can find something you can spin to make the actual owners of MSNBC just a guilty as you judged their made up owners in your conspiracy theory. A defining characteristic of a conspiracy theorist is that they determine the answer they want and then seek to find something that points to that answer (even if they have to make things up like General Electric and Oil PTY LTD)

.

3 You could not even come up with answer to justify making up company names and getting then so very wrong - Not knowing that PTY LTD was Australian and even in Australia not knowing it is not applicable to the GE's parent company even if it was Australian is poor. Instead you make the arrogant claim that anyone who disagrees with you must be racist. You add this the lie you have repeated before - The Australian military never assisted Saudi Arabia to attack Yemen - That is just another of your conspiracy theories.

.

3 Note this should be either 4 or part of your point 3. it does not matter because it is no point, just more personal attacks to cover you errors, yet again.

.

4 Please read what you have said to people here and reflect on your point here. You should be less concerned with speck you see in other people's eyes than the log in your own.

I’m not debating with you because I know everyone will only be outraged when I clapback at your rude demeaning comments.
People will start waving thier fingers and lecture me about being the bigger person.
It’s a racist unrealistic and unfair expectation.
If I were to come at you first for some reason no one would say anything if you were to clapback at me or would they expect you to be a bigger person either.
That’s why I have been telling you for a long time that I rather we just not engage because I know very well that you are aware of how this double standard goes.
You can clutch your f***king pearls this time.

From “conspiracy theory” site Harvard Education is the following study.

https://sites.hks.harvard...GDRAFT.pdf

: How do differences in ownership of media enterprises shape news coverage of international conflict? We examine this relationship using a new dataset of 598,981 articles on U.S.-led multinational military operations in Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo, published by 2,765 newspapers in 110 coun- tries. We find that independent newspapers offer more extensive coverage and place greater emphasis on military and policy issues (hard news). Media outlets within larger ownership networks display the oppo- site patterns – less frequent coverage and more emphasis on human interest and personalities (soft news). Newspapers owned by the same parent company also tend to feature very similar types of news coverage. Our data suggest that the consolidation of media outlets into large, multinational conglomerates may leave citizens with less information to monitor or influence their leaders’ foreign policy activities.

The purpose of this study is to assess the influence of corporate media owners over news content. In particular, we address the claim that the financial interests of corporate owners lead America's news bureaus to downplay the significant issues surrounding the growing concentration of ownership of the country's mass media.
