These fairly recent Christian denominations emerged around the 'Enlightenment' period - a movement that challenged the catholic church / the concept of religion / God / Absolutism. It revolutionised Europe between 1685-1815 and shaped the 'New World' in which we are living today.




Maybe, but others did too such as Methodist.

The 1st 2 are the most dominant today and have massive influence, the last 3 didn't quite make the list. JW don't even involve themselves in politics so they aren't prominent in what laws get focus unlike the other 4. Just seemed so random.
