Best way to access my music collection in the digital age So maybe I'm an old dinosaur (age 49), but I'm mostly digitally competent.
I have probably nearing a thousand music CDs, and many hundered of purchased digital tracks (mostly Amazon and iTunes).
My problem is not being able to accessing all my music.
I used to be able to upload any and everything to Amazon's cloud and listen that way. That has since been discontinued. I started buying digital music that I already own many times over just so I can easily access them.
There must be a better way.
I am looking to do a few things:
Store ALL of my music online. Access ALL of my music from my phone, laptop, and Roku-like devices. Be able to create playlists that can be accessed from each of these devices.
Everytime I try to search online for solutions, I am directed to apps and programs that have been discontinued.
Any help would be appreciated, even directing me to a more appropriate messageboard site where such things are discussed.

I've thought of this before but gave up because I only had limited data. But now I just stream from YouTube since I now have unlimited data. Well, u can upload to YouTube since they don't seem to be going anywhere although that will take forever I also tried looking into a personal cloud storage but forgot to follow up with researching and nothing ever happened. And I'm not sure if u can create playlists or not. https://searchstorage.tec...torage-PCS ![]()

Thanks for the response.
I can get quite a bit on my Microsoft OneDrive, but when I got to play from my phone, or Xbox One, I have to search fro a single song and once that song is over it stops. I can't figure out how to make playlists that can access the music files.

I don't know if this is feasible for you but what I did was I got a 256gb micro SD card and put all my music on there. Pop the sd card into my phone and there's all my music, any time I want it. When I'm at home, I just connect my phone to my Bluetooth speakers and blast the neighbours out of it with my collection of Prince, Springsteen and 80s hair metal. [Edited 11/4/19 10:39am]

I can definitely do that. What app would i use to create playlists? There's loads of music apps on the app store. I use one called Black Player. You can create playlists and sort your music by artist, album, song etc. Plus, it's free. There's another one I had before called Pi Music Player. It was pretty good too. I prefer the layout of the Blackplayer though but that's just a personal thing. They're both free so you could try both and see which one you like.

You should ask TD3, she's already discussed this over here, TD where are you??
In the meantime, this could be of help:

Google Play allows you to stream everything from your drive into its database. The one reason I have it Download all the shit hop that you can for your kids, neices, nephews, and their friends also. That will prevent them from going out and buying it and will prevent some shit hop sales. Every little bit helps - Andy
