People Putting Relationship Drama On Facebook

Yikes!!! what's up with all that? people are always putting relationship drama on facebook. Talking about how the husband, wife, girlffirned, boyfriend etc. Ain't shit, should die, is bad at sex, is a bad parent etc. Why put all that shit on social media? eek and why can they not talk about their problems? together? are people so afraid of confrontation? if you got into a relationship with the person. You should be able to trust them and talk to them about anything. Otherwise what's the point?

They are acting immature! Also I guess they
are afraid to talk about whatever drama they
are in. Most of the posts I have seen on
FB regarding couples/their relationship status,
is written for the sole purpose of "shaming".

I know one thing, those folks that discuss their real bixniz across the cyber highway forever have all their sh*t suspended in time.
can you imagine how those silly thought words will be perceived 10 years from today. they will never go away via the see in always files

I mean even if I had prince' Facebook address I'd stay cool and not become so excited that i'd key in stupid stuff. plus I'm pretty positive prince would not ever take the Facebook route.

For the most part, FB is for people that are desperate for attention or just plain nosy. I know the truth hurts sometimes.

Those are people who actually blame Facebook for being bad or a bad thing.
I tell them all the time, that drama comes from you, you use facebook for the wrong things

FB is my blog. I don't use it for private info.

Friend of me is a high school teacher, occupational level.

She is so tired of all the fb drama that interupts her class. Girls are getting all aroused over each others posts and misinterpretations.

I don't blame fb. FB is just a mean. Teenage drama is of all times.

And some people never grow up, and are still stuck in that kind of drama.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

I don't really get people doing this on FB anymore.

Seems like the only people doing things like that openly are... uhm, the lesbian chicks that I have on my friend list? lol

You're right because people's jobs have been lost, relationships broken, fights break out ( it happened to my daughter, so she stopped using facebook) and even murder and suicide because of facebook.

Depends on what is shared... if a person is an open book let them share. Don't like it? Then don't read it because its not YOUR life.

I share my personal stuff, I sure do! Why not? You make assumptions that people do not speak to the person they are at odds with before hand about the situation.

I did... about what you say?

About a father thinking his kids don't deserve Christmas gifts.... his kids are 14 and 12. The gifts they want... under 50.00 dollars each... and he has biven them nothing all year.

Is he a bad parent? I think so... but I left that up to the readers to decide, if someone wants to judge me for that, they can go fuck off.

Why?

Venting on FB prevents me from cutting that asshole up that's why... and guess what, some people do not seek validation from other's opinions of them. I have nothing t lose by psting that post. And why post it? What was I thinking by doing that? Where was my head at? Any person's head who does what I did?

Maybe a person is thinking... hopefully my bad choices can prevent others from making the same poor life choices...

Maybe that person is thinking a person can give me some good advice I haven't thought of about my situation...

Maybe a person is thinking I hope his family sees this as a permanent write up on the continued struggles I face because of him. Maybe they can talk to him since I have no access to other people in his famly.

Maybe there are reasons a person posts personal things thers wouldn't because a person like me is not afraid of being judged nor would she care what others think.

I have done nothing wrong nor am I bitter or angry, because he is always welcomed at my table and I teach my kids to love him even though he never does a thing for his own kids. He doesn't deserve them, but I still remain nice and pleasant around our kids for the sake of our kids... but make no mistake, he is VERY disrespectful and I shield my children from a LOT of crap he says and does to them. So that our kids great their absent father with hugs and kisses even though they go months and a few times YEARS when they see him, I even have to sell him on wanting to do anything for them. Ever since they were babies, yet he begged me to have kids with him, go figure. I have to kiss his ass and be nice for him t buy his kids a Christmas gift.

Well... that's me anyways... facebook allows me peace of mind from a very frustrating situation.

Allow people to vent, God knows people do that here also at one time or another... what's the difference really?

^^^ That is the best answer. Social Media such as FaceBook and Twitter are good inventions that are helpful communication tools when used properly. The fact that some people misuse them doesn't mean that Facebook doesn't have value and should be banned. It's just like alcohol. When used properly it's a good thing, just because people foolishly drink & drive or become alcoholics that doesn't make alcohol a bad thing.

Personally I don't even have a Facebook account because I like my privacy, but I understand how Facebook is a great way for people to keep in touch or find long lost relatives & friends. However I'll never understand why people use Facebook for personal attacks, spreading gossip, expressing every thought or feeling they've ever had, or detailing their lives with every bit of minutiae. Yes Facebook gives voice to those who shouldn't have a voice, but they can be easily ignored & avoided.

"Wrong" is a perception.

Even if someone "spews" it is only a means of communication... how others use that information is is the problem.

This thread is victim blaming....

people post personal stuff ALL the time. Photos are personal too... no one wants to see that either, yet we post our lives on facebook, and the bastards take advantage.

Is it the fault of the poster? Not in my book... I blame judgemental assholes seeking to feel superior over others. Too bad too many are too weak minded and bend to the wills of those aaround them out of fear.

Yup... think of this...

A person posts wonderful photos on vacation... on their timeline they also posted old photos of their home or their address can be traced thrugh facebok.

Someone uses that information to break into their home and robs said person.

This thought process would have yu blaming the person who posted photos on facebook.

"Drama" is a matter of opinion...

"Wrong" is a matter of opinion... one should also wonder why you share or are friends with so many who have so much drama, but I guess that needs not to be said.

Meanwhile the REAL wrong IMHO is the facebook administrators wh take personal information in order for you to stay in debt or sell you things you do not need in order to make money off you.

That is the real wrong in facebok and every other public website designed to seperate you from your time and money and influence your behavior.

Actually, that would have me partially blaming the person who posted the photos on Facebook. No different than if a person gets their identity stolen because they post their DOB and SS number. It's about common sense and accountability, don't make it easy for others to hurt you with theft or whatever.

If I am the only one who leaves their car in a parking lot with the doors unlocked and valuables in plain view, I'm partially to blame for my carelessness or stupidity if my car is the only one that gets stolen from.

I have one FB friend that posted her entire tumultuous relationship on FB. We knew every fight, every argument, every good time, every "this is it we're over" and every "I'm so in love".

disbelief

It was sad after a while. Glad it ended, for everyone's sake.

Oh I love to see those type of posts. It keeps things wild. And the more explicit in graphic detail, the better. I just wish they could post pictures of it. lol

It doesn't work like that in the real world. Some things you just can't share with your SO.

I just deleted my FB account yesterday. I never used it to post anything other than replies to friends posts. I never posted my photograph. I guess I'm a bit more privated and don't want my image out in cyberspace for all eternity. I guess I'll miss distant family updates and photos, but if they really want to get in touch with me, they will call, and if not, fuckem. shrug
