For you out-of-towners, best burger joint in NYC is Jackson Hole, 3rd Ave between 34th & 35th Street. You won't be able to move after one of those suckers.

Well I use to like that charbroiled taste of Burger King, but I noticed I don't taste it anymore. Now i only order the crispy chicken sandwich when i go.I rarely do local joints, though there are hardly any left, because it seems they fry their burgers in some kind of extra fat which I can't stand. I've concluded they all taste about the same these days. I can't stand the added seasoning now, like when they started doing the pre-seasoned fries decades ago, erasing the taste. So I guess none of them it's all just a matter of convenience.

Incredibly, the best hamburger I've found in Houston is at the Alpha Lanes Bowling Alley down in Clear Lake.

For fast food hamburgers, I like McDonald's the best.

I love a Mcdouble cheeseburger and Large fries. I know Wendy's is better, but it just not the same. Then again a Mcdouble is something I dont really consider a hamburger, but its damn tasty.

The best fast food Ive had lately was Wendy's Mozzarella Chicken Supreme sanwich. That was Da Bomb.

Agreed. I live on the other side of the country but love it.

If I had to name them, here we go.

1. Burger King (Whopper)

2. McDonald's (Big Mac)

3. Wendy's (Double) (though I don't dig their new one as much)

4. Krystal (the traditional Krystal is the basest craving I have)

5. Whataburger

Rally's down south is pretty damn good, and cheap.

Wendy's tops my list, then McDonalds, then Burger King.

Now that I am on a diet I don't go into any of these places, unless it's raining.

Burger King is gross to me and it has to be pouring for me to duck inside one of them!!!

Is Fuddruckers fast food?

Isn't it more like Fat Tuesdays? Is that fast food also?

When I say "fast food" I mean pure junk that you get wrapped up in paper with tons of grease on it. NOOOO table service, lucky if there is an unlocked bathroom etc.

Yes, and their burgers are great. They taste the closest to the old days of when drug stores used to have a grill area and sell burgers. The only thing that's missing is the Cherry Coke. lol And their breakfast is great too. They use real eggs, not the powdered stuff that the other fast food joints use.
